Biobank
A Biobank has been set up with funding from ME Research UK, Action for ME, the ME Association, and a private donor. Researchers from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine are taking blood samples from people who have been diagnosed with ME, including some who are severely affected. The blood will be stored at the Royal Free Hospital and used by various research projects.
There is further information on the ME Research UK website (warning to the squeamish: this features a picture of a blood test).
