The 2011 Invest in ME conference A Way Forward For ME - A Case For Clinical Trials featured a selection of international speakers, each focusing on a different area of research. Topics covered included the question of whether ME is an autoimmune or an infectious illness, the study of proteins in the spinal fluid of patients, and the link between the brain and the gastrointestinal tract.
